It is mostly known for its use for hair health.

It is known as Maka in Marathi , Bhongara / Bhangeria in Hindi , Bhrungraj in Sanskrit ,

Trailing eclipta plant in English.

Latin Name - Eclipta alba

Family - CompIositeae

Properties -

Rasa - Katu ,Tikta 

Virya - Ushna

Vipaka - Katu

Guna - Laghu , Ruksha

Chemical Constituents - Ecliptine

Parts Used -

Panchang , Beej ( seeds) 

USES -

👉Due to Ushna virya , it stimulates the functions of kidneys and so helps for Mutrajanana so, used in Mutrakriccha ( Difficulty in micturition ).

👉Beej - Vajikarana ( Aphrodisiac)
