ROSE & ITS USE IN GYNAECOLOGY

Roses are the " KING OF  FLOWERS".

As everyone knows its benefits for beauty , lets learn about it's use in gynaec.

Roses have other names as Gulab in Marathi & Hindi, Taruni in Sanskrit & Rosa centifolia as a latin name.

Family - Rosaceae

Properties -

Rasa - Tikta , Kashaya ,Madhur

Virya - Sheeta

Vipaka - Madhur

Guna - Laghu, Snigdha

Prabhav - Hrudya

Chemical Constituents -

oleum rosi

Medicinal Property & Use - 

It works as Vajikarana (Aphrodisiac) so it is used in Klebya.
