Latin Name - Clerodendrum serratum

Family - Verbenaceae                                        

Properties -

Rasa - Tikta ,Katu ,Kashaya

Virya - Ushna

Vipaka - Katu

Guna - Laghu , Ruksha

Chemical Constituents -

skin of roots has phenolic glycosides ,Saponin , siratogenic acids , D-manitol, B-sitesterol.
