Our diet is very much important in keeping healthy status of our Body.
In case of Menstruation , we can say that -

As the rasadi saptadhatu are formed from the diet you eat.
Healthy and proper diet taken at proper time is responsible for the formation of the best quality rasadi saptadhatu and also the normal state of vatadi dosha.
As per Ayurveda , Aartava ( menstrual blood) is the updhatu of Rasa. so best quality of rasa helps in formation of proper menstrual blood and normal state of vatadi dosha maintains the rutuchakra.(menstrual cycle) thus, leading to healthy Menstruation and preventing menstrual disorders.
And on other side , Now a days due to lifestyle changes ,Most of the women eat fast-foods, bakery products , fermented food, spicy more often. and this leads to dushti of rasadi saptadhatu & abnormal state of vatadi doshas. this further leads to irregular menstruation , oligomenorrhoea ,PCOS and further in complications Infertility.
