DO YOU KNOW THESE DO'S & DON'TS DURING SUMMER ??

 As summer is here , we should know what are the do's & don'ts during Summer as per Ayurveda ?

Ayurveda explains " Grishma Rutucharya " which is to be implemented during summer.                      

                      

What are the do's during summer ?

a) Eating food as follows - 

👉 Having Madhur rasa ( sweet )

👉  Cold & Snigdha food

👉 Cold drinks made from sugar & cold water . ( you can use water melon , lemon juices)

👉 Ghee

👉 Milk 

b) Applying Chanadan powder with cold water during summer prevents your skin from extra heat.

What are don'ts during Summer ?

a) Avoiding foods - 

👉 Alcohol 

Alcohol is of Ushna , tikshna guna & it is also Pittakara ( increases pitta dosha) & in summer there is already more heat outside so avoid taking alcohol during summer to prevent your body from extra heat.

👉  Lavana rasa (salty) diet

👉Amla rasa (Sour) & Katu rasa ( Pungent)  diet

👉 More hot  & spicy diet

c) Coitus
