These are known as Son chapha in Marathi , Champa in Hindi , Champak in Sanskrit &Golden champa in English & having Latin Name as - Magnolia Champaca / Michelia Champaca

Rasa - Katu ,Tikta , Kashaya , Madhur
Virya - Sheeta
Vipaka - Katu
Guna - Laghu , Ruksha
Constituents - Volatile oil
Medicional Properties -
1. Mool twak ( skin of root ) -
a) Garbhashayotejjak (Ecbolic)
b). Aartavjanana ( Emmenagogue / stimulates or increases menstrual flow)
2.Pushpa ( Flowers) - Mutrajanana ( stimulates / increases formation of urine)
USES -
1. Mool twak is used in Anartava ( Amenorrhoea) & Kashtartava ( Dysmenorrhoea).
2. Pushpa are used in Mutrakriccha (difficulty in Micturition).
