3. It is used for increasing menstrual flow .
4. After delivery , it is used as vatanulomana.
YAVANI
Latin Name - Trachyspermum ammani
Family - Umbelliferae
Properties - same as ajwain
Chemical Constituents -
Ajowan oil , Carvacrol
USES -
1. Shukranashak due to Tikshna guna.
2.Garbhashayottejak due to ushna & tikshna guna so used in Kashatrtava ( dysmenorrhoea) & Sutikaroga ( diseases in postpartum state)
3.GarbhashayShodhan ( Cleansing action of uterus) so used in sutika.
4.works as Vatanulomak ,so it is used in makkalshoola.
