WHAT IS GARBHSAMVAD ?

 As you all know Garbha means foetus / the baby in the womb.

it is simply - “your baby”.

Samvad means having conversation.

The word Garbhasamvad simply means “having conversation with your unborn baby.”

It can be done by mother / or the parents both /also by the family.

Every mother wants a Healthy, intelligent ,brave , having strong body & mind , so the pregnant woman is directly / indirectly thinking about the qualities she wants in her dream child.

so, This thinking of mother is converted into the conversation of baby and mother. 

                                    

Garbhsamvad is a scientific method for conveying the feelings , emotions of the pregnant woman about her baby.

Some people call it as “ Swasamhohan” and some call it as a type of “Dhyana”.

As the Garbha is connected to the mother with the umbelical cord,as it carries nutrition for the baby, but it also carries the emotional vibretions of the mother to the baby.

What you should talk about ..?

Garbhasamvad doesn’t mean to talking to your baby continuously.

You can share not only about your daily activities, routine but also about the virtues and values which you want your baby should carry after birth.

You have to imbibe all those virtues & values in yourself  which you aspire to put in your child. 

                                                  


About the place to practice Garbhsamvad ..

you should practice garbhsamvad at the places as -
Clam , Clean, Having Fresh air .Having low light & Comfortable.

 When you should practice Garbhasamvad ?

The best time to Practice Garbhsamvad is at bedtime.
But you can also practice it at any time during day if you feel to do so.

For how much time you should practice it ?
   - For about 15 - 20 mins a day.

How it impacts ?

Prcticing Garbhasamvad will lay the sound foundations of the intelligence , emotional , spiritual quotient of the child.

What is Panchkarma Therapy in Ayurveda ?

   
     Ayurvedic Panchkarma is now a days  heard by everyone But  People are unaware of exactly what is Ayurvedic Panchkarma treatment ? Which Ayurveda therapies include in Panchkarma therapies ? What is done in it ? Why it is done ?

                                           
 
This post makes an effort to let them get brief information about this Ayurvedic Panchkarma Therapy.

These therapies are done after specific purvakarma ( procedures done prior to the main panchkarma therapy).

The Use of  these Panchkarma therapies also depend on the seasonal changes.


These are the Ayurveda treatment collectively called as Panchkarma in Ayurveda. They are - "Vamana , Virechana , Basti , Nasya , raktamokshan."
 
Let's get to know about each of them in brief.

1) Vamana Therapy -

    It is specially done for Kapha dosha & Kapha related disorders.

    In this type of treatment , vomiting is induced with the help of Ayurveda medications.
 
    In short , It is medicated emesis.

                              

   2) Virechan  Therapy - 

    It is specially for Pitta dosha & Pitta related disorders.

    In this - your treatment is done in which purgation is induced with the help of medicated drugs.

                                

    3) Basti Treatment - 

     It is done specially for  Vata dosha & Vata disorders.

     In this , Basti is an ayurvedic treatment in which an ayurvedic oil / kwatha ( decoction) of ayurvedic medicines is inserted in the Body through anal region.

                                  
                                      
    4) Nasya Therapy - 

       It is an Ayurvedic therapeutic procedure in which there is instillation of medicated  ayurvedic medicine through nasal route.

                                             

 
    5) Raktmokshana - 
        
    It is treatment used to remove impure blood from your body .

    In it , carefully a controlled amount of impure blood is removed from your body.

आजकाल बहुतांश लोक शरीर स्वास्थ्या बद्दल जागरूक झाले आहेत. त्यामुळे व्यायाम करण्याकडे लोकांचा कल वाढलेला दिसून येतो. फार कमी लोकांना व्यायामाचा ग्रंथोक्त आधाराबद्दल माहिती असते.आचार्य वाग्भटांनी दिनचर्या वर्णन करताना व्यायामा बद्दल केलेला हा ग्रंथोक्त आधार ..


 व्यायामाचे फायदे -

- शरीर हलके होते.

- काम करण्याचे सामर्थ्य येते.

- भूक वाढते.

- वात शमतो.

- शरीर कणखर होते.                                          


व्यायाम कोणी करू नये ?

- ज्यांना अजीर्ण झाले आहे.

- ज्यांना वातपित्तात्मक विकार झाले आहेत.

- १६ वर्षयच्या आतील मुलांनी व्यायाम करू नये किंवा मोठ्या / तज्ज्ञांच्या देखरेखीखाली व्यायाम करावा.

तर यामागे नक्की कोणता शास्त्रोक्त आधार आहे का ? आणि अभ्यंग का करावा ?आणि कोणी करू नये असे काही आहे का ? असे बरेच प्रश्न कधी कधी वैचारिकांच्या मनात येऊन जातात ..कोणाला त्याची उत्तर भेटतात तर कोणी विचार तसेच सोडून देतो.. 

                          

अभ्यंग हा आयुर्वेदामध्ये वर्णन केलेला दिनचर्येचा एक भाग आहे. याचा उल्लेख आचार्य वाग्भटांनी दिनचर्या वर्णन करताना केला आहे.

      अभ्यंगम आचरेत नित्यं स जरा श्रम वातहा |

      दृष्टी प्रसाद पुष्ट्यायुस्वप्नसुक्त्व दार्ढ्यकृत || (अ.ह्र.सु.२)

दररोज शरीराला तेल लावून अभ्यंग करावा. त्यामुळे जरा ( वार्धक्य ), श्रम , वात यांचा नाश करतो. दृष्टी शुद्ध करते, पुष्टी देतो, आयुष्य वाढवितो , निद्रा देतो , त्वचा सुकुमार करितो  व शरीर दृढ करतो.

In  Ayurveda ,Aacharya sushruta describes regarding these things  that should not be done after confirmation of pregnancy --

           तदा प्रभृती व्यवाय व्यायाममतर्पण मातिकर्षण दिवास्वप्न रात्रीजागरण  शोक यानारोहण  भयमुत्कटासन                 चैवान्तत: स्नेहादि क्रियां शोणितमोक्षणम चाकाले वेगविधारण च न सेवेत || 
                                                                                                         ( सु.शा.३/१३ )


👉 Vyavaya (Coitus)
👉Vyayama ( exercise)
👉Aaptarpan (Fasting) 
👉Atikarshan ( work leading to weakness of body)
👉Diwaswapn ( afternoon nap) 
👉Ratrijagrana ( awkening till late nights) 
👉Shok ( being unhappy)
👉Yanarohana (Travelling)
👉Bhaya ( Fear) 
👉Utkatasana ( seating and sleeping in difficult postures)

The Panchkarmadi kriya that should be avoided - 

👉Snehan
👉Swedan
👉Shonitmokshan (Blood letting)
👉Vegvidharan 

Why these Activities should be avoided ?


👉 Vyavaya (Coitus) during pregnancy can harm the  Fetus.
👉 Vyayama (Exercise) without guidance of any health professional should be avoided as it can change the positions of your baby.
👉 Apatarpan and apkarshan kriya's leads to weakness causing difficulty in growth of the baby.
👉 Divaswapna leads to diseases caused due to kapha dosha.
👉 Ratrijagrana leads to unhealthy state of body.
👉 Shok leads to abnormal state of vayu.
👉 Yanarohan (Travelling) leads to jerky movements of body.
