     Now a days we also see that some people have habit of having salted chips with tea. Many people love eating salted chips, pickles , sauces , chineese food , papad on daily basis - all of them contain salt in more amount. Also most of the people have habit of adding extra salt in their every meals. But they never think of what happens in the body after that.

    As Per Ayurveda , Lavan rasa (Salty taste) is  one of the six tastes. The salt should be used in a very little amount in our daily diet.

Having salt in more amount in our daily diet in any form can lead to –

-        ๐Ÿ‘‰Increases thirst.

-        ๐Ÿ‘‰Causes inflammation.

THREE TYPES OF SEEDS TO MAINTAIN YOUR HORMONAL HEALTH !

 

     Now a days . we see that many of the women are suffering from Hormonal Imbalances and a lot of health issues due to this.

  You can prevent such problems with adding these seeds in your daily meals in any form. Here , we are going to discuss about three types of seeds that after including in your daily meals helps to keep your hormones in balanced state.

1.Flax seeds –

  Flax seeds are rich source of omega 3 fatty acids which help to fight against inflammation.

  They are high in both types of fibers i.e. soluble & insoluble that are helpful In preventing chronic disorders by lowering cholesterol.

  They also contain phytoestrogens which weakly bind to estrogen in the body. Phytoestrogens have both the abilities to raise / to decrease the estrogen in the depending on the needs of the body due to its estrogenic & anti-estrogenic effect.

  You can add flax seeds in meals in the form of chatani / after meals just chewing them.

 

2.Dill Seeds –

     Dill seeds help to increase the level of active type of estrogen.

     Dill seeds are helpful to regulate menstrual cycle. These are also helpful in reliving painful menstruation.

    They are rich source of vitamins A, C ,B6 , iron, calcium & Magnesium.

    You can use them for eating after meals.

                                                     


 

3.Sesame seeds –

   Sesame seeds are rich in zinc which helps to boost production of progesterone .they also contain lignans that blocks excess production of estrogen when progesterone raises.

   You can add sesame seeds in your meals in any form like – Sesame chtani / sesame powder use while cooking , sesame + gud laddo  .

Ayurveda explains - Why a woman in post-partum stage should practice Abhyanga ?

    

      Giving birth to a new life is the rebirth of a woman. it transforms her from a woman to a mother. This period is very precious and sensitive for her ,so she should follow some ayurvedic regimen in this period to maintain her health. Abhyanga is one of those ayurvedic regimens that must be followed by a woman after giving birth.

                                    


     The period after delivery is known as Post-partum period / Post natal period & as per Ayurveda-Sutika kaal.

    As per Ayurveda , a woman in her post-partum period is known as sutika.

   Abhyanga means massaging your body with ayurvedic oils. 

 

                                  

- In sutika avastha -

-  During the delivery , there is increased state of vata dosha which remains increased after delivery too.

-  A woman feels lethargic physically and mentally after delivery.

Benefits of  Abhyanga in the post partum period -
